My guess is on your computer you won't see ANY audio devices connected to your onboard audio controller. (see my example from my computer below) View attachment 74965 If the onboard It worked..!!! Check that your computer is using the RIGHT audio device (Windows XP and lower). Detect Sound Card Driver Thanks. I am not entirely sure if that is my sound card, as I have tried looking for it on the internet and I have seen no results.

This can happen if a) the audio device failed or b) the controller, itself, isn't working correctly. To see how devices connect to the computer PCI bus, expand ACPI->Microsoft ACPI->PCI bus. I don’t use the sound too often but it would be nice to have it. Under Southbridge Configuation, appears there should be Audio Controller option you can enable/disableSee if that lets you toggle onboard audio enable/disable.
