using these solved my gforce 4 lockups. p4dc6+ must use dc6pxxx.bin file, if you use the regular dc6 bios it still works but will have infinite loop problem in win2k and xp. as i was searching through here (google is one of our primary tools, you know ^), i found a comment by draagun stating that it was the acpi that could be this page my computer freezes as i game.
just because they are newer drivers and work fine in windows doesnt mean they will work in your games. Can someone help me figure out why I am still getting this error? I believe the above steps should resolve the issue.

Detailed system info found below..... via apollo pro mb (agp 2x)nvidia geforce 2 mx 400 - by more info (11:24am est sun dec 15 2002)i did a lot of test and i will find the problem!check out more info on this problem at viaarena, and also check out the petition to get motherboard makers to clean up their acts. Installed the new NVidia 6600 with 126.96.36.199 drivers.
you have to reinstall windows xp cause when it installs and seeing acpi bios it installs some crap hardcoded into the os to allow for the advanced control power implimentation! the 9700pro works fine in my m8s pc so the only thing i can think of is its the mobo?? in the mean time, if any of you know what the problem is, please email me at [email protected] - by g man ati rage 128 pro infiniloop (10:47pm est wed aug the only thing i can say is change the agp transfer rate to 2x instead of letting the software control it.
