Nothing worked and I was on the point of giving up. however, the problem was much worse with some drivers than with others. everything is running at stock speeds or below. Radeon Drivers only had it since i upgraded from a geforce ii mx 200 to a winfast geforce 4 a205 ultra tho.

i goes back to the blue screen. Check out the forums and get free advice from the experts. the latest drivers have been installed but when i'm playin' a game after about 20 minutes or less it stalls and goes into a bsod. Unfortunately I have already tried this and it didn't work.

it's things like this that force some of us to buy an extra motherboard with no recourse in order to get a stable system. I've added more fans and created an optimal cooling system in my computer. tried to install sun java vm… caused infinite loop in ten minutes!!! in other instances, this patch is needed.
If they do occur, i'll let you guys know.

I tried: -lowering my AGP to 4x (from 8x) -re-installing catalyst drivers several times (after completely uninstalling them) -setting BIOS settings to default settings -checking heat temperature in the case (all check out more info on this problem at viaarena, and also check out the petition to get motherboard makers to clean up their acts.

too bad I got rid of my looping radeon 8500 over 2 years ago.... but I've tested it with : Unreal Tournament 2004 Rise Of Nations Neverwinter Nights Doom 3 Max Payne 2 Transport Giant and a bunch of older games....
